HYDERABAD, Nov 10: Two persons were killed on the Super Highway near Nooriabad in the jurisdiction of the Nooriabad police station on Monday.

A dumping truck (LSB-8707) rammed into a motorcycle on the Super Highway, resulting in the death of Allah Rakhio Palari and Sain Bakhsh Palari, residents of Nooriabad, on the spot.

The police have impounded the vehicle and arrested the driver, Saeed Ali Shah.

CUSTODY: The Market police have obtained custody of Zahid Mushtaq Mughal, a bomb blasts suspect, from the Central Prison Hyderabad two days back for interrogation.

He is being interrogated by police in connection with the bomb explosions that took place in the jurisdiction of the Market police station.

The last explosion had taken place on July 16 outside the surgical ward of the Civil Hospital Hyderabad within the jurisdiction of the Market police station in which nine people, who were attendants of patients, suffered injuries.

Police sources said that Mughal, an activist of a banned militant outfit, was required to be interrogated in the presence of another suspect, Rafi Mustafa, who was apprehended from Karachi in connection with bomb explosions that occurred in Hyderabad.

Mustafa had been absconding ever since Mughal was arrested.
