Japan’s election: party position

TOKYO, Nov 10: Following are the results of Japan’s general election for the 480-seat House of Representatives (lower house) on Sunday, according to the final returns released by the ministry of home affairs.

Results in brackets are based on candidates’ affiliation at the time of registration.
