KARACHI, Nov 9: A fine spell of spin bowling by Mario Rodrigues and Freddy Decruze, enabled KGA Gymkhana register a 40-run victory over Khatri Sports in the Eighth Danish Trophy Ramazan cricket league played on Sunday at the KGA ground.

Winning the toss and deciding to have first use of the home wicket, KGA reached 160 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs through some entertaining batting by Hilary Rodrigues (50), Freddy Decruze (48) and Imran Bashir unbeaten with 23 runs. Feroz Baloch was the pick of the Khatri Sports attack, claiming three wickets for 30 runs.

Chasing 161 runs for victory, Khatri Sports were restricted to 120 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs.

Fazal Mohammad Khan top scored for his side with 36 runs with Mario Rodrigues grabbing three for 25 and Freddy Decruze two for 12.
