Missing boy’s body found

SUKKUR, Nov 8: The body of a boy, who was missing for the last three days, was found in a pond in front of his house in the Qadria Factory locality in Ghotki on Saturday.

Dr Arbab Malik of the Ghotki Civil Hospital, who conducted autopsy on the body, told journalists that the six-year-old boy, Salman, was electrocuted and his eyes were gouged out.

Mohammad Azhar, father of the boy, had registered an FIR about his missing at the Ghotki police station.

The cause behind the murder could not be ascertained.

However, Mohammad Chuttal, uncle of the deceased boy, registered an FIR against Rafiq Bhatti, Ali Nawaz Kolachi, Badaruddin Chachar, Urs Chachar, Hakim Chachar and Niaz Chachar, stating therein that they were residing in front of their house and had a bad reputation in the area.
