RAWALPINDI, Nov 7: The United Christian Front chairman, Dr Shamshad Sanaullah, has said representation of minorities in national politics was a great relief and would play an instrumental role in protecting their rights.

Dr Sanuallah was speaking at a special session of the United Christian Front. The participants of the meeting felicitated Pakistan Muslim League president Chaudhry Shujat Hussain on his successful operation.Dr Sanaullah said the minorities fully supported the constitutional amendments regarding reserved seats for minorities. The minorities have achieved a chance to fully support participation in national politics owing to these amendments, he added.

He said it was for the first time in the history of Pakistan that the minorities enjoy equal rights owing to separate electorate system introduced by the present government and root out the sense of deprivation in minorities.
