QUETTA, Dec 28: The Balochistan government transferred many senior bureaucrats, including the home secretary, Provincial Inspection Team member and the education secretary, on Friday.

According to a notification, provincial Home and Tribal Affairs secretary Azmat Hanif Orakzai has been transferred and asked to take over as population planning and social welfare secretary. Education Secretary Amjad Ali Khan was appointed as home secretary.

Population Planning and Social Welfare Secretary Mohammad Azam Baloch has been appointed as Provincial Inspection Team member and the member, Ghulam Ali Pasha, has been asked to report in the S&GAD.

Muneer Ahmed Badani, who was waiting for posting, will take over as education secretary and Tuqeer Ahmed, who was also waiting for posting, has been appointed as local government and rural development secretary while his predecessor, Mubashar Ahmed Zafar, has been asked to report to the S&GAD.

Khuzdar District Coordinating Officer Abdul Manan Kakar has been transferred and posted as Ziarat DCO and his predecessor, Mohammad Jamshad Hasni, will report to the S&GAD.
