Dacoits on rampage

GUJRAT, Nov 6: Dacoits took away over Rs2 million, 62 tolas of gold, and two vehicles in many strikes in Gujrat and Mandi Bahauddin in the last 48 hours.

Six dacoits entered Haji Noor’s house in Mandi Bahauddin. They tortured women on resistance and escaped with Rs1.2 million.

Four dacoits made off with Rs1 million from the houses of Mian Khan, Sheikh Bashir, Babu Khan and Muhammad Khan in Najan and Kotli Permand villages.

Three men in a car stopped a three-wheeler in Lalamusa, and snatched 50 tolas of gold from its commuters.

Ghulam Haider was deprived of his motorcycle (SGA 2928) by three armed men near Dhool Ranjha village at Phalia.

The wagon of Ramazan was taken away from Lalamusa city.
