KARACHI: Asthma clinics

KARACHI, Nov 2: The Aga Khan University Hospital will start asthma and smoking cessation clinics from Nov 3.

The asthma clinics would be opened on Mondays and Tuesdays. Both new and follow-up cases of asthma will be seen by consultant pulmonologists. At the clinics, the patients will receive information about asthma and its therapy, monitoring of peak flows, reading and review of inhaler technique. Facilities for allergy skin test will also be available.

Smoking cessation clinics will be opened on Wednesdays and will offer advice on ways to quit tobacco use. —APP
