SHEIKHUPURA: A landlord on Monday chopped off hands of his employee for demanding salary.
Reports said Rana Israr had employed Akram of Manawala to look after his business four months ago.
He was denied salary and on his repeated demand, the landlord allegedly chopped off hands of Akram, a father of two minor children.
Man’s hands chopped off for demanding salary
The victim along with his family members approached District Police Officer Sohail Zafar Chattha who initiated an investigation into the matter.
Police are yet to arrest Israr.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the district police officer.
The chief minister ordered that the best treatment facilities be provided to the victim.

The best treatment, Shahbaz Sharif Sahib, is to give the man back his two healthy hands without any residual disability. Surely you can do that. Or else keep quiet. AK

Give part of Israr land to victim so he can find sustenance for his family... also put the offender behind bar for at least 20 years. Cases like these keep cropping up in Pakistan because authorities are unable to provide justice to victims of such crimes.

someone who is atrocious enough to commit this act must have a big brother sitting somewhere in the assembly or civil services
I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be a land dispute, or an act of self defense etc.

@YA Khan because he is rich and powerful. Usual story in Pakistan. Two innocent children were beaten to death on a square and police watched. None of those people have been convicted. This wouldn't be any different.

Unimaginably shocking! Shahbaz has just sought a report? Action Is the need of the hour and complete restitution for the injured man. No amount of words will calm him but a modern day replacement and action from a military court/ ATC ASAP. This happens because there is no justice in the land and politicians keep on abusing their power while citizens suffer and NAB/courts sleep. Salams

There is a reason why Punjab is the best run and best managed province in Pakistan. You will see that this criminal will be served justice I am sure.
