MINGORA, Nov 1: An aged couple was brutally slaughtered on Friday night in the suburb of Chuprial village of Matta Tehsil, some 30 kilometres away from here.

It was reported here on Saturday that Salarzay (80), son of Ajar Khan, and his wife Qadarmana were living in a hut-like house separately from their other family members.

Tal Wadan, son of the victims, said they had no enmity with any one. Locals speculated that they might have been killed for some money kept in the house. Police has yet to arrest the killers.
