KARACHI: Osman, Ikram remembered

KARACHI, Nov 1: A meeting of the Dawn editorial staff was held on Saturday to offer condolences at the death of Osman Ghani, editorial assistant, and Ikramul Haq, administration clerk. They died within a span of hours on Tuesday.

The meeting decided to form a committee under the PHPL workers union to ensure that final dues were paid as early as possible to the families.

The meeting passed the following resolution:

“This meeting of Dawn staff members expresses its deep condolences at the death of Mr Osman Ghani and Mr Ikramul Haq. They were associated with Dawn for nearly two decades and had worked diligently.”
