QUETTA: The Chief of Logistics Staff, Lt Gen Ghayyoor Mehmood, has said that the army is playing a pivotal role in defeating the enemies at all fronts by foiling their nefarious designs and tactics against the country.

Speaking at the passing-out parade at the EME centre here on Friday, he said that the country had been facing various challenges because of tactics being used by the enemies against it. However, he noted, Pakistan had succeeded in foiling the conspiracies hatched by its enemies.

Around 550 jawans who completed their professional training participated in the parade.

“Terrorists have been defeated and peace has been restored due to the sacrifices and efforts of the army,” Gen Mehmood said.

He congratulated the soldiers and asked them to serve their country wholeheartedly.
