LAHORE: The management of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has invited top cricket professionals to sign up as coaches with the five franchises of the league.

A press-release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) here on Wednesday stated, “A number of qualified coaches and top cricketers have already signed up with the PSL for the positions of franchise coaches. However, interested professionals are still being invited to write to the PSL management in order to be selected by a franchise.

“Only highly qualified coaches and ex-Test cricketers will be entertained under this initiative. Any interested applicant who is involved in any sort of conflict with the PCB and its functionaries or with the International Cricket Council is not eligible to become a part of the coach roster.

“With franchise rights awarded, teams will sign up coaches before the player draft event which is scheduled to take place in late December.”

The PSL is being held in Dubai and Sharjah from Feb 4 to 23, 2016.
