MANSEHRA, Oct 29: At least 30 proclaimed offenders (POs) surrendered to police on Tuesday, SSP Ehsan Tufail told a press conference here on Wednesday.

The POs who belonged to different gangs used to operate at Dana in the upper Tanawal area of Mansehra.

The SSP said ring leader of the Sardara group Sardar Mohammad and his men were arrested in Dana, while the leader of the Kanda group, Sikandar, and his men surrendered in the SSP office.

Nine of those who surrendered belonged to the Sardara group, while 21 identified themselves with the Kanda group.

The SSP said that a total of 67 proclaimed offenders had been arrested during raids on different areas in the current month.
