SHIKARPUR, Oct 29: Haji Illahi Bux Brohi, the father of the late newsman Amir Bux Brohi, on Wednesday submitted a miscellaneous application in the court of the district and sessions judge, Shikarpur, in person requesting that the SHO, Lakhi Gate, Shikarpur, may be directed to register a fresh FIR of the killing of his son.

He has expressed dissatisfaction over the first FIR, registered in connection with the killing of his son, by his brother, Habibullah Brohi, because the FIR was lodged without his consultation and in his absence which he described as incomplete and false.

The applicant has stated in his application that Shahnawaz Brohi and his son, Zulfiqar Brohi, were involved in hatching a conspiracy to kill his son, Amir Bux Brohi, with the help of accused Ghulam Nabi Brohi, Waheed Brohi and Ghazi Sanjrani.

The in charge, district and sessions judge, Mehar Khan Mevo, the fourth additional sessions judge, Shikarpur, while admitting the application has issued notices to the SHO, Lakhi Gate, and the DPO, Shikarpur, to appear in court on Oct 30 in connection with registration of fresh FIR in Amir’s murder case.—BoC
