LARKANA, Oct 29: The anti-corruption establishment has completed an inquiry into the advance house purchase loans scam and submitted its report to the Sindh chief secretary.

Director ACE Khalid Salahuddain Soomro said on Tuesday that EDO education Jacobabad Bashir Ahmed Shaikh had made illegal recruitments.

He had skipped certain names from the list of 118 junior school teachers and laboratory assistants who were supposed to be terminated on charges of being appointed in violation of rules. The investigation revealed that the EDO had drawn salaries by passing instructions to his subordinate officials despite the matter being under investigation.
