KARACHI: Foreigner held with heroin

KARACHI, Oct 29: The customs drug enforcement cell arrested a foreigner with three kilograms of contraband drugs at the city airport.

Officials said that Victorious Chinedum, a Nigerian national, reported to the counter with his luggage to board an Ethiopian airline. On being search the luggage was found to contain 2.2 kg white heroin powder and 800 grams of brown heroin powder.

The Nigerian was arrested under the Control of Narcotics Substances Act 1997, and was handed over to the investigation and prosecution branch of the customs house for further investigation.
