Two cars hijacked

SIALKOT, Oct 28: In almost a dozen strikes in the district during the last 24 hours, outlaws took away two luxury cars, three motorcycles, gold ornaments, cash, electronics and other valuables worth Rs3.3 million.

On the Daska-Sambrial road near Bhopalwala village, four armed dacoits drove away with a new luxury car and Rs700,000 cash from two traders, Ziaullah and Shabir.

In Model Town (Sialkot city), unknown thieves lifted a luxury car (ABN-657) belonging to Aslam Masood, also a local trader.

A motorcycle (STJ-8324) of Ali Akbar was stolen from Sialkot Railway Station.

Two dacoits looted sports goods worth Rs300,000 from the sports factory of Nofil Zakaria and Mubashar Qureshi, in Dogran, Uggoki.

In Muzafarpur (Uggoki), unknown thieves took away a motorcycle (STJ-8834) of Manzoor Ahmad from his factory.

In Kotli Bhutta, also in Uggoki area, dacoits stormed into the house of landlord Razzaq Ahmad and took away gold ornaments, cash and valuables worth Rs200,000.

In Kharolta Syedan (Kotli Loharan), three unknown armed dacoits snatched gold ornaments, cash and wrist watches worth Rs250,000 at gunpoint from Abdul Mannan and his wife.

Two dacoits took away a motorcycle and Rs50,000 in cash from Sarwar and his wife on Badiana-Rachhara Road near Dhilam (Motra).

Three dacoits took away Rs70,000 at gunpoint from the general store of Navid Iqbal In Ghartal, Bambanwala.

Four dacoits snatched Rs12,000 from Waris and several other passers-by in Tarigari, Motra.
