KARACHI, Oct 27: The teachers body at the KU has rejected the proposed tenure track system for teachers and demanded that the Model University Ordinance be also withdrawn immediately.
A meeting of the general body of the Karachi University Teachers’ Society on Monday with its president Dr Sohail Ahmad Barkati in the chair, also demanded formation of a committee to review the University Act-1974. It termed the foreign faculty hiring system discriminatory.
