PUTD triumph

LAHORE, Oct 25: Punjab University Teaching Department (PUTD) won the university’s Inter-collegiate women table tennis championship,  beating  Government Ibn  Ameer  College,  Jalalpur Jattan in the final 3-0 here on Friday.

Mehwish put PUTD ahead by winning the first singles 11-6, 11- 8. Tehreem outclassed Saima to double the lead 11-0, 11-1.

Ammara sealed the fate of the final beating Adeel in  another one-sided encounter 11-3, 11-2.

Garrison  Post  Graduate College, Lahore Cantt.,  earned  the third position beating Islamia College, Lahore Cantt 3-1.
