KARACHI: SPELT meeting

KARACHI, Dec 26: The Society of Pakistan English Language Teachers (SPELT) held its 17th annual general body meeting here on Dec 22, says a press release.

The coordinator working committee presented reports of SPELT’s programmes and activities for the year 2001. Some newplans were also presented. Financial report for the period of June 2000 to June 2001

was presented by the accountant. After the AGM annual election results of SPELT coordinators and committee members were announced by the convener.

The founder member of SPELT, Zakia Sarwar, was elected editor for the quarterly and journals of SPELT’s publications.
