Man killed Outside courts over enmity

GUJRAT, Oct 24: A man, who was going to Kharian to attend proceedings of a case, was shot dead by his rivals opposite the sessions court on Friday morning.

Shabbir of Randheer village along with other companions was walking along the GT Road when two motorcyclists opened fire on him and escaped from the scene. Shabbir died on the spot. The motive behind the killing is said to be an old enmity between two groups of Randheer village.

Kharian Sadar police have registered a case against Niaz and his 11 accomplices, including two unidentified men, on the complaint of Fazal.

Kharian police Rescue-15 office is situated some yards from the place but the police officials deployed there did not dare chase the killers.

CM’S VISIT: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi will visit Tanda and Karrianwala on Saturday (today).

The chief minister reached here after visiting Sialkot on Friday evening.
