PESHAWAR, Oct 24: Jamiat Talaba-i-Islam (JTI) has demanded free education from primary to university level in the country and Urdu to be declared medium of instruction in public-sector education institutions.
These demands were made at the concluding session of a one-day conference held here at Nishter Hall on Friday.
Provincial ministers Qari Mahmood, Asif Iqbal Daudzai, JTI senior central president Abdur Rahim Marwat and other leaders addressed the moot.
