KARACHI, Oct 23: Tariq Rasheed slammed a defiant hundred but failed to save A.J.Worldwide from five-run defeat at hands of Dewan Sugar Mills (DSM) in DHA Trophy KCCA Inter-firms cricket tournament on Wednesday.

However DSM and A.J. Worldwide advanced to the quarterfinals of the event. DSM finished group “A” champions and A.J. Worldwide secured runners-up spot.

Former Pakistan junior international Shahid Qambrani top scored for DSM hitting 68 with four boundaries. A.J.Worldwide in reply reached the target on the last ball.

Tariq struck eight boundaries in his 103 and Imranullah hit 65 with three fours but A.J. Worldwide fell six run short of victory.
