The Jail police said that Yasmeen Faizee, 37, had went to use the washroom, where she committed suicide by hanging herself with her shalwar belt.

Her body was taken to the Civil Hospital for the post-mortem examination.

The deceased, who had been divorced by her husband, Adnan, in 1996, had allegedly killed her parents, Sajada Begum, 55 and Abul Nasar Faizee, 65, in their apartment on Nov 12, 2002.

Following the autopsy, at the CHK on Thursday, none of her family members turned up to take possession of the body.

Her body was handed over to the Edhi Foundation, where it would be buried after keeping it for three days, Rizwan Edhi said.
