Fighting knock by Masroor

KARACHI, Oct 17: Former Pakistan under-19 allrounder Muhammad Masroor hammered a fighting hundred as Zone-V recovered to reach a respectable total against Zone-IV on the first day of their two-day PCB Inter-district Senior cricket championship match at Landhi Gymkhana Ground on Friday.

Batting down at number six, Masroor slammed 106 as Zone-V recovered from 105 for five wicket to be 249 all out in their 90 overs of the first innings.

At Asifabad Ground, Tariq Rasheed and Suleman Khan hit half centuries to take Zone-IV to 289 all out against Zone-VII.
