KHAIRPUR, Oct 16: The adviser to the Sindh chief minister on local government affairs and kutchi abadis, Waseem Akhtar, has said flaws in the Sindh Local Government Ordinance are affecting the devolution plan.
Talking to journalists at the circuit house here on Wednesday night, he said the chief minister had set up a committee to recommend amendments to the ordinance. He said the SLGO was drafted by bureaucrats and participation of politicians was not ensured which was the reason for difficulties.
