Five die in accident

QUETTA, Oct 14: At least five people, including two women, were killed and 37 others injured, five of them seriously, when a passenger coach overturned on the Coastal Highway near the Bozi top, some 500km from here, on Tuesday.

The Karachi-bound coach, coming from Gwadar, overturned when the driver failed to control the vehicle at a sharp turn allegedly due to speeding.

“Five passenger died on the spot,” a police officer said and added that the 37 injured people were taken to the Uthal hospital. The condition of at least five of them was serious. Ganj Bibi, Nani Bibi, Mohammad Hamid, Abdullah and Allah Deta were killed.— Staff Correspondent
