LAHORE: The combined entrance test for admission to engineering institutions of Punjab for BSc Engineering and BS Technology will begin at 10am on Sunday (today) at 13 centres across the province.

Arrangements for holding the test were reviewed at a meeting presided over by University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid on Saturday.

“Applicants are advised to reach an hour or so before the commencement time of the test along with the admit card,” said a UET spokesperson after the meeting.

Applicants should not forget to bring their computerised national identity cards, SSC certificates, domicile or passport for presentation at the centres where mobile phones would not be allowed.

The test would be conducted simultaneously at UET’s Lahore, Kala Shah Kaku and Taxila campuses; College of Engineering and Technology, BZU, Multan; College of Engineering, Islamia University, Bahawalpur; NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research, Faisalabad; NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology, Khanewal Road, Multan; Government College of Technology, Rahim Yar Khan;, University of Gujrat; Government College of Technology, Rasul; Dr A Q Khan Institute of Technology, Mianwali; Quaid-i-Azam College of Engineering and Technology, 6-km Pakpatan Road, Sahiwal, and International Islamic University, Islamabad.

The key for self-marking would be uploaded at http://admission.uet.edu.pk on Sunday midnight where the result of test would be available on Aug 23 (midnight).
