PM, army chief discuss security, Afghan peace process

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif here at the Prime Minister House on Monday.

Overall security situation in the country was discussed in the meeting, said a PM Office statement.

The meeting reviewed the Afghan reconciliation process in the context of regional situation.

The ministers for interior and finance and Inter-Services Intelligence director general were also present at the meeting.
