Man killed over water dispute

NAWABSHAH, Oct 11: A man, Ahmed Khan, son of Juma Khan Mari, was gunned down by four men on a water-related dispute in Jadu Jono village Sakrand taluka on Saturday.

The assailant managed to escape from the scene of crime. Mohsin Khan, the brother of killed man, lodged a case against Rano Khan Mari, Ali Gohar, Ghulam Rasool and an unidentified person.

INJURED: Seven people were injured in two separate accidents in Nawabshah during the last 24 hours.

A pickup (MR-7445) overturned on the National Highway near Qazi Ahmed, causing injuries to Abdul Qadir, Ghulam Hussain, Syed Murtaza Hussain, Faisal and Farooq.

They were admitted to a local hospital.

In another incident, an oil tanker (No-7457) collided head on with a coach (No-5555) coming from the opposite direction on the National Highway near Qazi Ahmed, resulting in injuries to Ms Shahnaz and Bashir.

They were admitted to a local hospital. The Qazi Ahmed police have impounded the vehicles.
