All MQM offices closed on Altaf’s order

KARACHI: All offices of the MQM, including its Nine Zero headquarters, were shut down on Wednesday night on the directive of the party’s chief, Altaf Hussain.
Sources in the MQM said Mr Hussain was “extremely angry” with the coordination committee over some organisational matters. He phoned members of the committee and directed them to close all offices and hung up without listening to them.

The sources said the committee’s members, parliamentarians and other office-bearers immediately stopped work and closed their offices. They converged outside Mr Hussain’s Azizabad residence in a bid to calm him down by extending an apology.
“Altaf bhai is angry...we have to sit here [Nine Zero] and wait till his anger subsides,” said an MQM leader, requesting anonymity.

What is wrong with AH, I do not know. But I am always intrigued by the other leaders of MQM. Most of them, when not talking about AH, appear rational, educated, and sincere. Why they continue to follow this twisted mind, I could never figure out. Despots like Stalin, Hitler and Korea's Kim Ill Sung in there times held similar 'loyalty' but there were other reasons to that. I am not suggesting anything, just curious.

Now this is the most admiring call Altaf has ever made "Close all MQM offices". This should have done long time ago. It looks like Altaf has seen something during his hunger strike that made him make this call, I hope he shares that secret with us all.

@M Jamal NA-246 does not mean whole Karachi..so please stop false claims...in stats the rule is to take a sample at random from a given set of population and make a judgement on the basis of that sampling, so generally the response of karachiits is against MQM.. on the contrary u would find them supporting Rangers...
