PESHAWAR, Oct 8: The provincial government has constituted a committee to solve problems faced by doctors working on a contractual basis.

This was announced by NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani during a meeting with a 15-member delegation of doctors at the Frontier house here on Wednesday.

The committee comprising administrative secretaries of health, law and establishment and two representatives of doctors would review the problems faced by doctors working on a contractual basis and submit its recommendations to the provincial government.

Mr Durrani said that the government was aware of the problems of all segments of society.

“I have studied doctors’ case and reached the conclusion that a committee should be constituted to find out a plausible solution to their problems,” he said.
