LAHORE: The Met Department on Friday forecast monsoon rains in upper Punjab, parts of KP and Kashmir from Sunday night.

According to the latest advisory, monsoon rains are expected over Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore and Sahiwal divisions), Hazara division and Kashmir from Sunday night.

Rain-thundershower with isolated heavy falls is expected in most parts of Punjab, KP and Kashmir from Tuesday to Friday.

Very hot and humid weather is expected in the plain areas of the country during the next two days.

However, there are chances of isolated rain in Lahore, Sahiwal, Hazara, Zhob and Kashmir in the next 24 hours.
