Man shot dead over Karo-kari

SUKKUR, Oct 8: A landlord, Ali Khan Bhambhro, was shot dead allegedly by his cousin, Wazir Ali Bhambhro, in Kandhra, Rohri taluka on Monday.

The police shifted the body to the taluka hospital.Police sources said that the killing was the result of a dispute over Karo-kari.No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

ATTACK: A passenger wagon, on way to Thul from here on Monday, came under firing of bandits in the Humayoon police jurisdiction as a result driver Khadim Lashari was injured.

The bandits had signalled the driver to stop the wagon but he sped it up on which the criminals opened fire at it.

Lashari has lodged an FIR against unidentified bandits with the police.

BODY: The body of an unidentified man, aged about 45 years, was found in a suburb of Kandhkot on Monday.

The body with several wounds of knife was recovered near Noonari village by a police patrol party.

The body has been kept in the Kandhkot taluka hospital for identification.
