LAHORE: Swiss businessmen are willing to make further investment in different sectors in Pakistan.

This was stated by Swiss Ambassador Marc P George during his meeting with Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Ijaz A Mumtaz at the chamber on Monday.

George said several Swiss companies already operating in Pakistan were doing successful businesses. He expressed the hope that Swiss investment would see a boost in the coming months due to liberal investment policies of the present regime.

From 2013 to 2014, imports from Switzerland grew from $ 259 million to $ 320m whereas in the same period, Pakistan exports recorded a slight change from $ 12.9m to $ 13.7m.
