KARACHI, Oct 7: Chief Minister Ali Mohammad Mahar presided over a meeting ministers at CM House on Tuesday. Those attended the meeting were Senior Minister (Finance) Syed Sardar Ahmed, Minister for Education Irfanullah Marwat and Minister for Planning and Development Shoaib Bukhari. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh and Wasim Akhtar, Advisers to CM on Home affairs and Local Government, respectively, were also present.

The CM was apprised of the ongoing development projects in the province. He directed the participants to ensure completion of the projects within the stipulated time so that people could benefit from them as soon as possible. He pointed out that prompt completion of work would prevent excess expenditure.

Stressing on quality of work, he observed that the recent rains had caused considerable damage to roads, school and hospital buildings and other public properties and told the participants to ensure standard of work in the rehabilitation work.—PPI
