KARACHI: ADB’s role lauded

KARACHI, Oct 6: Sindh minister for planning and development Syed Shoaib Bukhari chaired a meeting with the Asian Development Bank’s provincial portfolio review mission.

While reviewing the progress, the ADB mission expressed satisfaction over implementation of projects in social sectors in Sindh and desired that emphasis be given to accelerate the pace of agriculture sector projects.

The ADB mission asked for audit reports. The minister directed the concerned administrative department to furnish reports by Oct 15.

The minister directed the representatives of the health department to finalize a PC-I in respect of reproductive health project. — PPI
