KARACHI, Oct 6: The final merit list of candidates for admission to the Dow Medical College and Sindh Medical College was displayed at the selected centres on Monday.

The DMC Principal, Dr S. Tipu Sultan, who is also the chairman of the admission committee, said that process of issuance of offer letters to the candidates, in regard to admissions, would start within a few days, while classes for the new comers would commence from Oct 15.

He said that about 26 candidates filed objections on the provisional merit list, pertaining to DMC and SMC, but most of the objections were held invalid.

He said that a few of the candidates, who were short of original documents, had been asked to provide those accordingly, while cases of the A-level students had also been settled.

DMC CONVOCATION: Meanwhile, a DMC press release said that the full- dressed rehearsal of the college convocation would be held at the Shaikh Zayed centre on Oct 10.
