SRINAGAR, Oct 5: All Parties Hurriyet Conference leader Agha Syed Hassan Al Musavi Budgami on Sunday urged the world community to take notice of the Kashmiris’ genocide and move to stop it.
Speaking at the funeral of four martyrs, attended by over 15,000 people, at Nasrullahpora, he asked the world community to take urgent notice of Indian brutalities and get the genocide of Kashmiris stopped.
He reiterated that the liberation struggle would surge ahead and the sacred mission of the martyrs would be realised, no mater how great the cost.
He said the Indian attitude had remained intransigent and the Kashmiris had been left with no alternative but to offer unparalleled sacrifices.
He emphasised that the Kashmiris had firmly resolved to continue the liberation struggle till they were allowed to decide their political destiny by themselves.
He said, the Indian farce of peace moves and duplicity in extending a hand of friendship stood exposed at the international level.
He said the world community must play an active role to resolve the Kashmir issue in its historical perspective.
The mourners raised pro-liberation and anti-India slogans.
A delegation led by Dr Ghulam Mohammad Hubbi visited Kreeri in the Pattan area, where three Kashmiris were martyred by Indian troops.
Speaking to a large gathering, the leaders paid tribute to the martyrs and said the exemplary sacrifices of the Kashmiris had turned Kashmir into a flash point.
APHC Chairman Syed Ali Gilani has condemned the application of the draconian Public Safety Act to senior Hurriyet leaders, Shaikh Abdul Aziz and Mushtaqul Islam, despite the fact that the court had ordered their release.—PPI
