ISLAMABAD: Top players Nofil Kaleem and Mohammad Muzamil won their matches convincingly in the third Pakistan Tennis Federation Development Series that started here at the PTF Complex on Wednesday.

In the U-18 category, Nofil outclassed Musa Chaudhry 6-0, 6-0. Muzammil defeated Saqib Umar 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Saqib took an aggressive start and managed to defeat promising Muzammil. How­ever, after losing the first set, experienced Muzammil made a strong comeback to overpower Saqib.

Meanwhile, in other U-18 matches, Talha Bin Asif def­ea­ted Abdal Haider 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 and Aman Atiq beat Haris Irfan-ul-Haq 5-7, 7-5, 6-1.

Later, in an U-16 match, Ilham Khan beat Mohammad Waleed 6-0, 6-2.
