Metro bus for cricket fans

LAHORE: The Punjab Metro Transport Authority announced on Saturday keeping metro bus operational till 11:30pm on Sunday to facilitate cricket fans on the second T20 match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
Normal bus operations continue from 6am to 10:30pm, Authority General Manager Uzair Shah told Dawn.
The authority might announce provision of such facility (if required) for more matches of the series.

It's actually an excellent move by the leadership of The Punjab Metro Transport Authority to shuttle cricket fans on these buses v allowing motorbikes or cars in and around the stadium. This type of security measure reassures our guests that their welfare is a top priority on all levels.
This is a well known security measure taken by many sports and entertainment venues in North America where shuttle buses are utilized for crowd monitoring and safe security containment.
