New KCA chief

KARACHI, Oct 2: The newly-elected board of directors of Karachi Cotton Association on Thursday elected Iqbal Umar and Anwer Yasin chairman and vice-chairman of the association, respectively, for the year 2003-04.

Elections of directors held on Sept 30, declared the following as elected unopposed in buyers and exporters group: Amin A Hashwani, Anwar Haji Karim, Asif Inam, Imran Maqbool, Muhammad Atif and M Yakoob Nagaira. Amir Javed and S Baqar Mehdi were elected directors of the KCA from others group.

From sellers category the following were elected directors of the association: Anwer Yasin, Iqbal Umar, Khawaja Mohammad Zubair, Khushiram Narindas, Muhammad Khyzar Yousuf, N.S. Chawla, Wahid S. Balagamwala and Waqas Anwar.
