GUJRANWALA: The district government sealed 26 illegal refilling shops of the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and booked their owners on Sunday.

Two persons were killed in a cylinder blast during LPG refilling in the city recently and the incident prompted action by District Coordination Officer Azmat Mehmood.

A team was established under the supervision of DCO Ahad Dogar which raided LPG sale points on GT Road, Jinnah Road, College Road and Alam Chowk and sealed 26 of them. Cases have been registered against the shopkeepers.
