Man killed in road accident

HARIPUR, Sept 27: A man was killed while two others sustained injuries when a speeding truck rammed into a stationery truck near Shahra-i-Saleh, some two kilometre from here in the early hours of Saturday.

Police said that an Abbottabad-bound truck No 9663 RIM, when reached near village Shahra-i-Saleh it rammed into a parked truck No 4301 PRJ, killing Mohammed Riaz s/o Yusuf Khan of Abbottabad on the spot and injured two of his accomplices namely Zar Gul and Tariq.

The police said that after the accident both the trucks fell across the GT road blocking it for several hours.

However, the local administration managed to clear the road for traffic.
