BHURBAN: Dermatology centre in Capital

BHURBAN, Sept 27: The government will soon establish a well- equipped national dermatology centre at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) in the capital.

This was stated by the federal health minister, Mohammad Nasir Khan, while speaking at the inaugural session of 10th Annual Conference of Dermatology held in Bhurban on Saturday.

The conference is being organized by the Pakistan Association of Dermatologists (PAD) and Pims Department of Dermatology.

The health minister said funds would be made available for early completion of the centre.

Nasir Khan said one post of dermatologist would be created at district level and professionals would be appointed against these posts after consulting the provincial health ministers. The time has come to consolidate the health system, he added.—Correspondent
