KARACHI, Sept 26: Sindh chief minister’s advisor on Health, Nauman Saigol, on Friday approved appointment of six medical officers in the Civil Hospital’s emergency department, purchase of medical equipment, purchase of six 100 kv generators, besides renovation fund for the department.

He reviewed the development works being carried out in the hospital and expressed satisfaction.

Mr Saigol also expressed satisfaction over reduced traffic congestion around the emergency department and directed the CHK medical superintendent to remove illegal PCOs.

He ordered provision of four new ambulances to the hospital, recruitment of lower staff on contract basis and renovation of servant quarters, nursing hostel, lady doctors’ hostel and doctors’ mess.—PPI
