ISLAMABAD, Sept 25: The World Squash Federation (WSF) has nominated referees for this December’s World Open in Lahore.

Pakistan squash officials said on Thursday that Chase Evan from the United Kingdom and Egypt’s Nasir Zaran, both world referees, have been appointed for the Dec 16 to 21 championship. Two other international referees — Pakistan’s Jamshed Gul and Munir Shah of Singapore — have also been named.

Officials said that Nasir has been asked by the WSF to assess the local referees and conduct a course for them before the start of the championship that is to be staged at Lahore’s Old Airport building.
