Woman burnt

RAWALPINDI, Sept 25: A woman was burnt in her house while preparing meals on a stove in Bhara Kahu on Thursday, police said.

The injured was identified as Tazim Bibi, 25, wife of Boostan Khan.

Razia Bibi, mother of the victim, told the police that the incident occurred when her daughter’s clothes caught fire due to gas leakage, the police said.

The victim was shifted to Rawalpindi General Hospital in critical condition. According to doctors, she had received 60 per cent burn injuries.—A Reporter
