KARACHI, Sept 25: Four ships carrying containers and chemicals are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Pu He, Hammurabi, Bunga Mastiga, to unload and load containers, Armour-1 to offload palm oil and Innvoation to unload base oil.

Sailing on the other hand was slow as only two ships, APL Cairo, Mercs Kandy departed, while Innovation, Bunga Mastiga, Hummurabi, Annemieki, Panos-G and Eax Sinctity are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 66,883 tons comprising 5,415 tons of export cargo and 61,460 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Sapphire, with chemicals, Corinthiakos Flame, and Wan Hai-302, with containers.
